Mary Lindsey Edwards has Lyme Disease with co-infections and mold toxins. She has been sick since March of 2015 and has seen 25-30 Doctors trying to find out what was wrong with her. She has always been a happy teenager and

used to dance 20 hours a week. Once she was diagnosed with Lyme, we had to travel to Washington, DC for treatments every 3 months. Some of the oral

antibiotics caused her to be confined to a wheel chair and her speech became

very slurred. We found out that she has a gene that predisposes her to Lyme and Mold. This means that if she has one issue (Lyme) and is exposed to Mold, she will get really sick. The toxins from Lyme and Mold can build up in her body. We had our house tested for Mold and found that our crawl space had a lot of

moisture and Mold, and the Mold-Toxins had been coming through the air ducts. In order to remediate, we had the mold in the crawl space cleaned, affected duct work replaced and the crawl space completely encapsulated, which was rather

expensive. Recently we have discovered there is moisture inside some walls in

Mary Lindsey’s bedroom and are in the process of figuring out how to remediate.

We have found a Doctor in Florida that treats Lyme patients and people with toxicities. Mary Lindsey has been in Florida for the past 14 weeks and is starting

to get better, at present we are not sure how much longer she will need to stay.

The cost for the treatment is $3,000 per week which does not include living expenses and is not covered by insurance. We are hopeful that Mary Lindsey will continue to improve and will soon be able to come home. The generous

donations we receive from family and friends are being used to help pay for the cost of her treatments.
