Cures for Colors is a non-profit foundation that is near and dear to our hearts. Each year, Cures for Colors organizes walks, runs, motorcycle rides and other events to boost cancer awareness. Berkshire Hathaway Home Services McMillen and Associates Realty and friends participate every year to help raise funds for financial assistance to those effected. Since 2011 Cures for Colors has help provide much-needed assistance to cancer patients in eastern North Carolina while they are getting treatment. 100% of the money it collects is spent on patients needs and Cures for Colors is 100% volunteer from time, money and resources.

This year the walk will take place on May 6th, 2017 at the Wayne Memorial Community College. There is a Ceremony with speakers, food, music and even a lantern release. The walk/run will start Saturday at 8am. Registration information can be found at southeasterncancercare.org.
