Every two years Wayne county gets a fun treat. Seymour Johnson Air Force Base puts on an outstanding AirShow! Seymour Johnson Air Force base is hosting the free Wings Over Wayne Open House and Airshow, featuring the US Navy Blue Angels, the US Army Black Daggers, Tora! Tora! Tora! The Combined Arms Demo and more! There will also be static displays, fun for kids, and lots of food. The F-35 Lightning II, F-22 Raptor and the F-16 Fight Falcon will all be there.   Come witness Team Seymour fill the air with the powerful sound of freedom!

~ Everyone is invited to come out and support the 2017 Relay for Life of Wayne County. Friday May 19th from 1pm to 1am at the Wayne County Agricultural Fairgrounds in Dudley.

~ May 19th from 7pm -930pm Wayne County Jazz Showcase. This is a free event at the Wayne County Arts Council. www.artsinwayne.org.

~ Flea(less) Market a fundraiser for Furever Paws rescue group. This will be May 20th from 10am to 2pm at Old Waynesborough Park, featuring vendors, crafts, food, yard sale. 919-988-4813

~ Family Fun Day the Lord’s Vineyard church from 11am to 2pm. Carinval games, bouncy houses, food and giveways. Free.
